On July 1, 2009, Emdeon, a leading provider of revenue and payment cycle management solutions, acquired eRx Network, LLC, a leading provider of third-party claims management and analysis services, Medicare and Medicaid DME billing services, reconciliation and recovery services, and electronic prescribing services to the retail pharmacy industry.
This move, which combines eRx Network’s expansive technology and services with Emdeon’s existing suite of pharmacy solutions, will enhance the overall Pharmacy Services organization by creating a new organization known as “eRx Network, an Emdeon company”.
